Ok, ok, ok....I was tagged SOMETIME ago and thought I should go ahead and participate! HEHE! I am deathly afraid of midgets.. 2. I despise the mints that Sonic gives you on your drink. 3. I miss my job. 4. I love my new job. 5. I have attended 1 Junior College and 3 University Schools to which I have over 120 hours and no degree. Go figure! 6. I love to watch my children sleep and wonder what I ever did without them. 7. I hate that I have some of the greatest friends in the world but we dont ever get to see each other because of LIFE and how we each get wrapped up in it. 8. I bite my nails. Halloween

October has come and almost gone...

Whew! What a month! Just as you are coasting living life you realize the milestones ahead! I forget that Raegan is not going to be a baby forever and Tyler is only going to want to kiss his mom for so long..haha! Tyler has decided on being the black Spiderman for Halloween and we are going to dress Raegan up as a Tootsie Roll! Those pics will be posted shortly after Halloween. In other news Raegan has gotten her first tooth! I felt it come through on Saturday...on Friday (26th) she started saying "da-da"! Unbelieveable...she says dada and all I can say to her when she is doing it is "Mama". Its only right that she should have said mama since I have done all of the work up to this point...right? Tyler is finished with his soccer! Thank goodness!! I mean it was fun for the first few weeks but when you have to get him to practice twice a week and go to a game..it gets pretty exhausting! Needless to say I'll have plenty of time of "rest" until the next organized sports team! Ha! The Resturant is doing great! I am posting some pictures of the inside changes (for all of you who knew what it looked like before) it is still a work in progress...and these pictures are old. They have since put up their logo on the main wall, a 52' plasma above the counter in place of the menu speials, added to the deco on the ledge, and gotten a POS system! So exciting to see all of it come together! Other than that not much is going on..just getting ready for the holidays to come, and trying my damndest to go to Florida since I am so desperate to see George, Tracie, and the kiddos. In the mean time I know that other priority trips include a trip to see Jenn, one to Jared and Heathers, one to Monahans, and definately one to Mom and Dads to see the finished remodel on their house! BUSY...BUSY...BUSY!

Oh my goodness...how time flies!! I have not had a chance at all to update this blog! Between Labor Day Weekend, work, the restaurant, and soccer we just don't have time to do ANYTHING! So I'm taking some time to post. Not much going on here... Matt has been really busy making changes to his new business adventure....Angelo Burger. Matt and Jared Newlin, a friend of ours, bought a burger "joint" and they have been actively making changes to the inside as well as creating a new menu! We are WIDE open for suggestions for menu items..they were really excited when they discovered spicy waffle fries, and needless to say they have been a big hit!! Matt has had to spend most of his days there, and when he is not there he is squeezing in family time and coaching Ty's soccer team. I have been working, taking care of kiddos, and gaining the title of "Soccer Mom". Ty is loves to play soccer and Raegan just loves to be outside at the soccer games. If you are around our way on a Saturday you should come out to one of his games...its pretty hysterical!! Raegan is growing like a weed! I cant believe she just turned 5 months old...CRAZY! We have been taking her to the pool at my work, and she just loves it! But she mostly loves her big brother and he usually is the only one who can get her to crack up. Its so funny to watch them interact with each other. I am so fortunate to have two healthy babies and thank God everyday for sending them to me! I promise I will post more...with pics. The Week

Man. I can't believe another week has gone by!! Busy busy busy this week at work. All of our students are moving in this weekend so we are so busy getting ready for them. This being the busiest time of the year, a time that I absolutely can not be out from work, Ty gets croup. Poor guy! I felt soo bad! So what do I do? Work from home all day while he watched T.V. I don't feel too bad cause that is exactly what I did when I was sick at his age. He is getting better, but my biggest worry is that Raegan doesn't get it! Wouldn't that be horrible.... I went this past weekend to surprise my dear friend Jennifer for her birthday! I drove to Dallas all my my self and surprised her at her friend Jennifer's pool party that she threw for her! It was sooo much fun! I got to see all of my old college friends and catch up! Matt has been really busy with the restaurant getting it ready for its new look and menu! I have been going to take some pictures of it, but not so much! Here are some pictures from this past week of the party and of MISS RAEGAN and her daddy! Raegan and her daddy!! Well yet again I have let the week get away from me...go figure! Matt and Ty got back from their big trip to Missouri! They had a blast...and here are some pictures to prove it. The highlight of the trip, besides Matt's cousin's wedding, was the visit to the Bass Pro Shop. You know Matt was in heaven!! The week has flown by....Tyler was glad to be back home and in his groove! He really missed his friends at school and was sooo glad to get back to the playground! Matt has also acquired a new business venture. He and Jared Newlin, a family friend, bought Angelo Burger. Angelo Burger is a hamburger place directly across from campus. They take ownership tomorrow! We are so excited...they have some big plans for the place and cant wait to make some much needed changes for the good! I'm excited to finally see Matt's dream of owning his own restaurant come true! In other happenings, I signed Tyler up for soccer this past week. That's right....I am officially a soccer mom! I cant wait to see his first game! I'm soooo jazzed about it but not as excited as Tyler! Besides him asking me daily if I signed him up for soccer...he has insisted that we take him to get a soccer ball. So this past weekend we did. Thank God for Academy! They have soccer packages that you can get that include a soccer ball, cleats, and shin guards. Tyler could not wait to get home and try on his gear. So we got home an dressed him in his garb...then we took it all off and went to run some other errands. When we got home and he was bathed and ready for bed he went in his room and was really quiet...for a while. Well as you know Tyler and quiet don't go together..it usually means he is up to something. So in a minute he comes around the corner and he has on his soccer gear. He put it all on himself! Impressive! Here is what he looks like in his pjs and soccer gear... Let me tell you it was quite a struggle to get him to take off his new gear because he REALLY wanted to sleep in it! Matt finally got him to take it off and to just sleep with his soccer ball instead. Too funny! Raegan is doing really good! She is just getting soo big! She is babbling and just talking away! On the other side of things I think we might have a thumb sucker on our hands... Tell me what you think. I have tried numerous times to cram a paci in her mouth...she doesn't want it...just her thumb! I also think she might have an ear infection because she keeps pushing on her ear..She hasn't run any fever but tonight she really was crying and acting like SOMETHING hurt and I cant tell if it is her ear or just gas. I think I'm going to take her to the pedi anyway just to be safe! That's all I got for now! TTYL!!

It needed to be done!

Well, I just had to do it! I really want to keep up with the daily musings of our family, and have a place to post pictures, stories, and updates on our family..... so I broke down and started a blog. I really hope that I can take some time out of our busy day to keep it current. I didn't know adding another baby to the family would take up soo much time...haha! 7/28/07 Matt and Tyler went to Missouri with his family, and Raegan and I had to stay behind. This is our busiest time at work and I could not take the days off to go. Oh well...they are having a great time, and I'm glad to spend the extra time with Raegan! Not much else to report...I WILL, however, include a new picture of Raegan and hopefully some of Ty once they get back with my camera! She Found her feet!!
