Well, it makes me happy to say , "I'm headed HOME for the holidays!" Yep its not every day that you get to go to the house you grew up in and spend the holidays! I cant wait to get there! On another note....We took the kids to see Santa, and what an episode. Needless to say the picture they took is Tyler sitting and smileing and Raegan screaming her head off! It was sooo funny. Santa looked soooo good too. I dont know if it is the holidays or what that makes me such a sap. I whispered to Matt, "Look! Its REALLY him!" as I started to cry. He was phenomenol! I love the spirit of Santa. I think that is the best thing you can share with your kids! Love it! I will try to post the picture of the kids on Santa's lap....cant promise anything! Julie

December? SERIOUSLY!
Well, one holiday down and another to go! We had a great Thanksgiving this year. We left for Levelland on Wednesday night and spent Thursday with my family, and Friday with Matt's. It is so nice to be able to go back home for the holidays. I dont just mean "home" as in Levelland, I mean "home" as in the house I grew up in. As in, to sleep in my same bedroom that has been mine for the past 28 years! Its changed a lot since I left home but it is still the same house and it feels so good to go back there for the holidays! And yep, Crystal and I were at Toys 'R US at 5 AM! We hit all the stores and got some great deals and saved tons of $$! We have so much fun every year! She has been bit by the baby bug that seems to be going around! Crystal is having a baby in July of next year, Tracie is due in March, and Rendee just had a baby girl....Rylee. Im doubled up on my birth control just in case! Ha! We put up our Christmas tree last night and it is officially Christmas in our house! It was soo funny! One of my snow globes was broken and all of the water had leaked out. When I took it to the sink I was just "sick" over it cause it was my faveorite. I think Ty was trying to sypathize with me and said, "Aww Mom, that SUCKS!". Yep that came out of my 5 year olds mouth! I really need to watch what I say around him. A few weeks ago he told some kid in PE that something the kid was doing was, "bull shit". Ha!

Polar Express
So I cant even to begin to explain my excitement! My sister-in-law was telling me the last time we were in Lubbock about the REAL Polar Express that they are having in Lubbock!!! I got really excited just to find out that they are COMPLETELY sold out. So it has been in the back of my mind ever since. WELL, I was talking to my Mom about it last night and decided to look it up online and come to find out they are not TOTALLY sold out! We reserved tickets for a Sunday night, but hey, we got tickets! You have no idea how much Ty LOVES the movie and he is going to be sooo pumped when he sees he gets to go on a REAL train. Basically you get on this train that takes you to the North Pole and while you are on the train you drink hot chocolate and hear the story of the polar express and when you get there Santa gives each child a sleigh bell to keep!! AND you are supposed to wear your pjs and the whole 9! I'm soo glad I checked on it! Also, I cant believe Thanksgiving is coming up so fast. The store has been crazy busy! I just spent 1 hour glazing all the crap from this past weekend! I'm so glad cause we really needed business to pick up! We are going to be in Levelland for Thanksgiving this year and Friday in Shallowater. That is AFTER I do my psycho black Friday shopping this year. Ha! No really! I am that psycho lady who is in line at the toys r us at 4 in the morning freezing her butt off! Crystal and I have a method of action and you better bet your ass we get the best deals! I save so much money by shopping that day, you have no idea! I even go to www.gottadeal.com to get the ads early so I can map out our route early! Its sick, I know! Ha! I showed Raegan how to put her baby "night night" by covering her up with a blanket. Something as simple as that has the child so intrigued! She spent an hour covering and uncovering her baby and saying night night! Its hysterical! Ty told me today that a kid in his class kicked him in the (he pointed to his crotch) and didn't exactly have a word for "it" at the time. I asked him if the kid got in trouble (cause you know if it was Ty he would have been in deep crap with his teacher) and he said NOPE. He didn't. All he had to do was apologize. And I said well that's not right! And Ty very calmly said....."Yeah, he didn't have to pull one of his cards! He kicks ME in the Knuckles, and HE doesn't get in trouble!" Yep...the "knuckles". Hes so confused! I cracked up and didn't even correct him. I am waiting for Matt to get home so I can see his face when Ty tells him he got kicked in the "knuckles"! Too funny! AND, on another note! I finally finished the Twilight series (Crystal insisted I read them and I did....not impressed!) and I need new ideas on a new book to read! Any ideas?

I can't even explain how crazy Lubbock was this past weekend, and in case you missed it I posted the winning scenes from the game!! We tailgated and everyone we were with went in to the game except Matt, me, and Kyle's mom. We watched it all go down on tv and it was sooo exciting. When we won & all I could do was grab some lady I didnt know and high fives and hugs all around. It was the most exciting thing I have ever witnessed. 53,000 people and that was not including all the people in the lot with us and all over campus! It was nuts! It was so much fun to be a part of it all, and Kristina and I yelled at the passing fans for a good 15 minutes! I hope they keep it up for next weekend with OSU.

Not much.
to say! I dont have anything to say but feel obligated to blog more! So here ya are...a post from me. Dont get too excited, I know. The only thing exciting that happened to me today was making an appointment to get my hair cut. It is a life changing event according to Matt! I might have to spend $40 or so bucks to look halfway decent. Here is the conversation we had in the car the other day.
Me: I need to make an appointment to get a haircut
Matt: Your hair looks fine you dont need it.
Me: You know most women go get their hair cut and colored about every 6 weeks.
Matt: no way
Me: yep just call Kristina and ask her! ( knowing that she does go every six weeks)
Matt: I WILL! (calling Kristina)How often do you go get your hair cut? REALLY? Why so often? Oh. I didnt know that. I dont know (asking me) how long has it been since you got a hair cut?
Me: 8 months!
(I can hear Kristina yelling at Matt)
Matt: ok thats all I needed! CLICK!
Basically that is how it went down! I have been wearing one of those claw clip things in my hair for months and I got so desperate for a change I cut myself bangs one day! Yeah BANGS. not just any ol bangs but the rolled under kind. I look like Rainbow Bright for Christ's sake!
Im a lame ass mom who stopped giving a shit what I look like about 3 years ago! Its official! Matt could give two hoots cause we dont go out and do anything to look decent for, Ty only notices his own need for a haircut because his hair is too long to spike up and its pissing him off, and Raegan only cares about yelling at me 24-7. We will see how it turns out and I plan on scheduleing it pretty regularly.... Ha!

No pics!
How frustrating! My camera is on the fritz and I cant up load any of the pictures from the pumpkin patch this past weekend or the pictures from Rendee's shower! CRAP! But I can put a picture of my new car!!
YEP....I traded the mountaineer. I was so tired of all the trouble we were having with it so for $40 more a month we could have a new car!! I LOVE IT!! It is a red Ford Fusion and it only costs $30 to fill up rather than the $80 with the mountaineer. We have officially downsized. I have mixed emotions about the size but the newness is pretty darn fabulous!! Anyway.
Tyler is doing great at school lately. I figured out the secret. If he gets a sticker for the day then we go get ice cream....needless to say we have gone for ice cream the past 3 school days. Pretty genius if I do say so myself! Ha! His teacher is such a ......for lack of anything nice I will leave that to your imagination..... she is so hateful! I was standing outside as the line walked up and the kids have to give her high five before they can go to their parent. Well Ty is standing in front of her with his hand in the air and she says, "Ty, wait!" and proceeds to name off names of kids whose parents she sees finally after everyone is gone she looks at Ty and says, "ok now go". I hate her. I hate to say she is picking on my child but I think she is. Its pretty bad when another parent approaches you as you go to your car and says she did the same thing to her kid the year before. "She is just THAT WAY" they said. Sheesh! I have a feeling I will be meeting with her in her conference period soon.....before Christmas maybe! All of this "trouble" Ty is in is starting to get really old.
Raegan....man! She is a hand full. It just started one day and as not stopped. I don't know if we will make it to 2 without me ringing her neck! She is sooo sweet but she has figured out how to pull her weight around here and I and seem to get her to stop shrieking MOMMY when ever Ty is in the vicinity, or has something sh wants. She is driving me nuts!
As for everything else....well....the BIG GAME is son Saturday and I cant be more excited!! We are heading to Raiderland on Friday and trick- or -treating my old stomping grounds and tailgating on Saturday! We don't have tickets to the game but plan on drinking lots of beer and watching it in the parking lot! Cant wait! Mom is watching the kids and we will be with Kyle, Kristina, Kyles family, and Crystal & Donny! Its going to be good and I think we have a chance of beating them! Ill let ya know how it all turns out!

Car trouble!
Yep. Something that started out as a small hole in my radiator has turned into a bit 'ol fiasco!! Here is the deal. Keep up now.....we paid a guy to replace our radiator that had a hole in it. Said "guy" did and not only did he do that....he gave us a radiator that had an internal leak. After driving it around for a week and a half we realized something was STILL leaking from the bottom of our car. SO i take it back to said "guy" and he replaces #1 radiator with #2 radiator. I drive it for 2 weeks and figure out that something is wrong with my car. It was doing funny things so while in Levelland seeing my parents my mom gives me her car to drive and my dad takes my car to the Ford dealership where he works, and where we bought the car. SOOOO....2 weeks later and lots of warranty work done and money spent...we figured that there was a problem with the transmission. My dad brings me the car only to find that the problem was not fixed. We still have a PROBLEM!!! I take it to a shop here and they tried to charge me $350 to tell me it was broken. Yeah after I turned on the Julie "charm" the charges were waived and I was on my way. I even heard Tyler say to his teacher, "yeah see that stuff leaking out from under that car....thats MY mom' car" . UGH how embarassing!! Long story short....My car is still in the shop and I have been without my car for 2 weeks. Matt was toting me around until my mom traded me again and my car is in the shop in Levelland and I am driving my moms Explorer........WHEW. Needless to say I have a few choice words to say to above said "guy" who caused all of this! And I might just have to trade the piece of shit in and get me a
I just LOVED Heather's and I think I just need to go get me one too! LOL! My plea to Matt is, what I save in gas will go to the payment! Yeah right!
On a lighter note. Roadrunners finally got their beer license and are serving bottled beer. We were stoked! It is slow go but we think the beer will be a hit. Pottery Ranch is SLOW! We are hurting for business and are ready for the Christmas rush! I will have to take pictures of my new stuff I have painted! The kiddos are doing fabulous! Tyler straightened up in school and Raegan LOVES her daycare! It is so comforting to know this as I drop her off every morning. We are still shopping for a house. The one I loved did not accept our offer and the house was already overpriced. We found out they were getting forclosed on by the bank and had to sell it for no less than the asking price. So GOOD LUCK is all I have to say to them!! But anyway we are still looking! I have been watching the Biggest Loser and as I do when a new one starts......I'm ready to jump on the weight loss bandwagon. In fact there are a lot of things I am ready to change about my life but too much to mention now. I have some decisions to make and some soul searching to do I'm sure I will rant about them in another post. Thanks for reading! Julie

Kindergarten TAKE 2....CLICK
Well Tyler made it to day 10 and then......he ended up in the Principal's office! Yep! Couldn't believe the phone call Matt got from the teacher that Tyler had "poked" another child in the cheek with a fork at lunch! Of course you can guess my reaction...."He STABBED a kid???????ALREADY????" Ha! Yep I tend to exaggerate. I knew he might end up in the Principal's office some day (maybe 2nd grade) but not even 2 weeks into kindergarten? Man....what is in store for me? If you know me then you know that I insisted Matt march up to the school and BEAT HIM (were my exact words)....but Matt reminded me that it is not like when we were in school and we could get CPS called on us for "beating" our child! Strike 3 on "Mother of the Year". So he just got his but busted when he got home. So needless to say I'm praying week 3 goes off without a hitch....but I'm not going to hold my breath! On another note...Matt and I are celebrating our 6th anniversary on the 14th! I cant believe it has been that long! And what better way to celebrate than to buy a house!! Yep...we put in an offer on a house today! I cant wait! I have been on the lookout for a house I like and I finally found one! I will keep everyone posted on the result of our offer!! I hope we can get a good price on it cause I think I'm already tooo attached to it. Julie

Ohhhh!! Hi!!!!
Well, well, look who is back! I almost forgot I started a blog and feel pretty bad that the past several months has not been documented. CRAP! Here is the rundown...... May.....well May was a good month....Kristina and I implemented lots of changes at PR and I quit working at Roadrunners for the time being. Tyler graduated from PreK and was home for the summer. I had a sad attempt at keeping Raegan out of daycare and was taking her up to PR with me. Didn't work. She started a horrible daycare (I wont mention it of course) and after several weeks of sickness I found the ULTIMATE daycare in San Angelo! Mosaic Redwine is here new "home away from home". Not much else in May. Not exciting anyway. June....with Raegan in daycare I decided to have Tyler with me at PR for the summer. I had day camps 3 days a week there with different themes and a large group frequent us on Mondays when we were closed. It has been fabulous owning the Pottery Ranch and Ty didn't mind being there so much either! We didn't go anywhere during June since owning 2 businesses doesn't allow time for it! So much for summer vacation! July....I like to call it the dreaded month. We had a fabulous 4th here at our house with all of our friends! Jared and Heather even came for a visit and we were so glad to spend time with our dear friends who abandoned us. (I say that cause I know she will read this HA) No we love our visits with Jared and Heather and only wish they were more frequent. We went to Austin to see LaBecca and Nick get married! My mom came for the weekend to watch the kiddos so we could run off to Austin with Kyle and Kristina! We even got to spend a night and day in Fredericksburg! And if you know me you know how much I love Fredericksburg. We went to the outlets in San Marcos and even to Gruene to the Gristmill to eat lunch!! SO much fun! And then it happened!!! I turned 30! It sucks to hit a milestone like that, but I have great friends and family that made it really special! And as it turns out it isn't so bad! August....not much else has happened in August either. Matt turned 29 and we celebrated by going to schlitterbahn with his family! It was a blast! Pottery Ranch wound down and the restaurant sped up........oh and Tyler has started kindergarten. Ill tell that story in another post! That pretty much sums it up! Ill give more details later on the important stuff....but what matters is i plan on posting more frequently! So get READY!!!

Survey!
Well..... i got one...and as always I feel obligated to answer it! 1. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE? No not really I guess. My Dad wanted to name me Sloan but my mom won on that one and I got Julie. My middle name, however, Kathleen comes from my grandmother. It was her first name. She was my favorite and I miss her the most! 2. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED? This morning....I came home to find Matt sitting in the chair reading to Raegan. And when I sat down he quit reading and started talking to me. As we were talking Raegan was mimicking him and talking in an unusually sweet voice and almost a whisper and turning the pages to the book as if she was now reading the book. Just the sweetest thing EVER!! 3. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING? No! Absolutely not! I write like a third grader. It is one of my worst qualities. 4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCH MEAT? Turkey 5. DO YOU HAVE KIDS? 2 beautiful babies. 6. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU? Ummm. of course...that was stupid. I don't think of myself as a TOTAL loser! 7. DO YOU USE SARCASM A LOT? Psht....um yeah. Again if you don't know me it is the only way I treat life. I try to sprinkle a little sarcasm in with ever conversation that I have! I think I appreciate it more than most! ha! 8. DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR TONSILS? Yes 9. WOULD YOU BUNGEE JUMP? Yes...definitely. It would have to be totally sporadic though. If I had time to think about it I would chicken out. But I would like to think I would be the ring leader in getting everyone to jump. 10. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CEREAL? Fruity Pebbles. Matt gets sooo pissed when I give sugary cereal to Tyler, and I find nothing wrong with it.....healthy smealthy.....It was good enough for me growing up! WTH? 11. DO YOU UNTIE YOUR SHOES WHEN YOU TAKE THEM OFF? NO! I despise shoe laces. They really piss me off. Mostly anything that requires me bending over makes me mad. Im just saying! 12. DO YOU THINK YOU ARE STRONG? Yep. I do. Well maybe not REALLY strong..cause I tried to prove it to Matt one day and figured that I was sadly mistaken. Ha! 13. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ICE CREAM? Baskin Robbins Daiquiri Ice! LOVE IT! 14. WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE ABOUT PEOPLE? Unfortunately I look for flaws in EVERYONE! I think that this is my WORST quality!! I am always on the look out for the obvious things to make fun of people....sorry its just me! I guess it makes me feel better about myself cause Lord knows I have issues!! ha! 15. RED OR PINK? Red 16. WHAT IS THE LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT YOURSELF? See #14 17. WHO DO YOU MISS THE MOST? My Grandmother. She died several years ago and I would really have liked for her to meet my children and hung out with her as a mother rather than a teenager...when I thought she was lame. Also I truly miss Tracie and George! I hate that they live in Florida! And I miss Jenn so bad I cant stand it! She is close enough I could just go visit and I don't know why I don't! Crystal....we don't get to spend enough time together , and when we do we both realize why we are still friends after all these years! And finally Rendee! I love her and am truly worried about her right now but she is the strongest woman I know and I know she will pull through! 18. IF YOU WHERE A CRAYON, WHAT COLOR WOULD YOU BE? Ok, here is the thing about crayons....they don't have "normal" names anymore. There is no RED or YELLOW or ORANGE....I guess I will have to go with "Purplelicious" Ha! 19. FAVORITE SPORTS TO WATCH? Texas Tech Football!!! 20. HAIR COLOR? RED....I hated it as a kid and insist it is still red. 21. EYE COLOR? Blue 22. DO YOU WEAR CONTACTS? no 23. FAVORITE FOOD? Mexican food....to be exact..11Q from Mamacitas in San Marcos. 24. SCARY MOVIES OR HAPPY ENDINGS? Happy Endings 25. LAST MOVIE YOU WATCHED? In the theater....No Country For Old Men. LOVED IT! I'm a big movie nerd! 26. SUMMER OR WINTER? SUMMER SUMMER SUMMER!!! Except this summer is my 30th birthday and I think I'm going to crawl under a rock for the entire month! 27. HUGS OR KISSES? Hugs from my babies kisses from my honey! 28. FAVORITE DESSERT? Raspberry Cheesecake from Olive Garden! 29. WHAT BOOK ARE YOU READING NOW? I'm trying sooo hard to finish Native Son. 30. ROLLING STONES OR BEATLES? neither 34. WHAT IS THE FARTHEST YOU HAVE BEEN FROM HOME? New York City in 8th grade! 35. DO YOU HAVE A SPECIAL TALENT? I can Gleek farther than ANY man! 36. WHERE WERE YOU BORN? Lubbock Texas

Whew!
Well,
Kristina looked as beautiful as ever at the wedding!
Opal and I got to hang out during the wedding!
And...Nate was there! He is always a breath of fresh air not to mention one of my favorite people.
Needless to say I didn't break out my camera until the last minute and didn't even get a pic of Matt and I! Go figure! But it seems that everyone else did so I will get some and post them soon! We had a great weekend last weekend. What a relief that that wedding is behind us and we can have a free weekend. We spent Saturday with Ashley and the boys at the TLC Easter egg hunt where they threw eggs from a helicopter and had 100,000 eggs on the ground for the kids (seperated into age groups) to hunt! The kiddos had fun and I guess that is what matters. As a result of the day see below........brace yourself....

Apparently when the sun is out you should put sunscreen on your kids. Hmmm. Yeah so Im suprised that no one turned me in to CPS after laying eyes on my babies with their "lobster" Easter look! I cant tell you how horrible I felt. But.....we did play Wii with Kyle and Kristina on Saturday night!
They brought it to our house..they are soo good and understanding to bring the fun for us as not to disrupt our kids routine! We put the kids to bed and the fun was on until well after 3 a.m. We spent Easter with them as well! They invited us to their house for lunch and we played some more Wii and stayed out of the rain!
When Ty got home it appears as if the Easter Bunny made a visit to the house!

Its my favorite to be Santa, Easter Bunny etc....I love it!

Things..
And as soon as he is back he had to go to the restaurant...didnt get home until 12:30...and was gone again at 5:30. He went to Vegas with our friend Kyle for a bacheloor party. They are coming back tomorrow. Basically they will be there for 24 hours. But those two can do some damage in 24 hours. Especially when Alchohol is involved. I dont think I have mentioned that our dear friends Kyle and Kristina are getting married on the 15th. Me, Matt, and Ty are all in the wedding!
This is a rediculous picture of Kyle and Kristina...it was REALLY close quarters!
We are going to Midland this weekend for the festivities! I'm so excited! Here is my dress for the wedding...I cant wait! I just love going to bridal showers, bachellorette parties, and everything else that leads up to the big day! Her roommate Stephanie and I threw the backellorett party last weekend, and let me tell you! i might almost be 30 but I still got it! I can still throw a kickass party! haha! But in my old age I can't hold my liquor like I used to could. I just cant hang anymore. I was sooo sick on Sunday! Posted by Julie at 1:34 PM 0 comments

Parenting Skills "101"
I must be the worst mother EVER! Ok maybe not EVER but I'm definitely not winning the "Mother of the Year" award! This is sort of how it went... Matt has been out of town for this past week, and it has shook our routine up quite a bit. Our morning usually consists of Me getting up at 7 and getting Ty out of bed. I make his breakfast which usually involves me pouring milk into a cereal of his choice...nice balanced diet of colored puffy circles, and to think I let the "mulitgrain" written on the box convince me it was healthy...and talking to him and making his lunch while he eats his breakfast. I get him dressed and hair combed and yell at Matt to get out of bed and take him to preschool at about 745ish. They leave, I wake up Raegan...feed her and put her in her bouncer so I can get ready...and Matt makes it back home to get ready for his day. I get crap ready, drive out to the sitter and drop off Miss Priss by 9 and proceed on to the restaurant (oh stop off to tan on the way to the restaurant but whatever you get it). Simple huh? Not too bad...right? Well when you take dad out of the equation it totally SUCKS!! I HAVE to get Raegan up too so we can ALL make it out the door and get Ty to school My day starts at 6 instead of 7. No big deal right. NOOOO you simple minded fools! It shakes up the whole day! When you are dealing with a 5 year old that has been up since 615 and it is 8PM it makes a difference! Well back to why I am writing this... We make a Sam's list once a week for the restaurant. I MUST fit this in at some point in the day when I don't have the kids...it becomes a circus if they are with me cause I have to go into Sam's and make it out with what I am supposed to get...drive back to the restaurant and drop off all the crap and try not to get tied up on a errand for Jared so I can get home and get on dinner for the fam. So I chose this morning after dropping off Ty as an opportunity to do my "list". Just me and Raegan. We were in and out in 30 minutes (a record for me) and as I am coming to the door to face the ice storm outside the sweetest little old lady is standing at the exit to look over my ticket so I can be on my way. Being the sweet little old lady she was...she chatted with me and suggested I "don't get that baby out in this weather" she said " you can just leave her here with me in the basket and go get your car. Just pull it under the awning here and you can load it here instead of getting her out in this nasty weather"..... I just don't know what came over me. I said "Thank you" and left my 11 month old baby with a STRANGER!! I literally walked out of the store and fetched my car so that I would not get wet while I loaded my groceries. RAEGAN...LEFT....WITH...SOME OLD LADY THAT WORKS AT SAM'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What was I thinking. I didn't obviously! I waltzed back in and thanked the sweet old lady for watching my kid and walked out to load my car. STUPID! I thought about it on my way to drop her off......and came to the conclusion that just ANYBODY can have children. Even....ME! I have established that I will NEVER win the Mother of the year Award, but this pretty much seals it!

My Fave
Well as you all know tonight is the night!!! I am sooo excited to watch the Academy Awards! I am a professed award show junkie and my uber fave is the Oscars. I love the clothes, gossip, and the winners!
Matt and I had a RARE date night some time ago and we did not have a huge selection of movies to choose from. SO..being the IMDB nerd that I am I searched for No Country for Old Men. It had exceptional ratings...I also rely a ton on ratings...we took a risk and went to see the movie we knew nothing about!
It was amazing! I loved it and strongly suggest you watch it!! Javier Bardem is DEFINATLEY going to win as well as the Coen brothers....and ofcourse the movie!
Well, here i go to do my nails and get dressed up in my formal attire so I can sit and watch the show!! I am beside myself....

Its another Wednesday!!! (ok Thursday...but WHATEV)

OK....so after being named the coolest Mom in the UNIVERSE and after a new 5 year old loves me a whole "human bunch" It is very relaxing to be able to sit in front of my computer and not have to think about caprisuns, drool, Ben 10, or burgers! At least for now!
Todays (or yesterdays) WFMW is a little different! Instead of works for me it is a "where I shop online" Hey folks...I dont make it up I just participate! Ok..I am not a big internet shopper! BUT.... I do browse and here are some of my favs..
Woot is a good one! My friend Heather turned me on to this and they have a different item starting at midnight and the sell them until they run out. Yep just one item a day! I have yet to find something I can't live without..but the computer nerds at Computer Stop next door to the resturant swear they have gotten the best deals...so whatever...I like it and I like to see the new crap everyday!
Another one that I frequent is Sam Moon. It is full of cheap accessories! Purses, wallets, watches, necklaces...etc... I just love it!
Anything on HSN is a given! My Mom buys Philosophy on this site! It is cheaper than the department store and they have a big selection! Also I have been known to sit on the edge of the coffe table while watching the full hour of tupperware while yelling at Matt, "Babe...Im holding out until the end I think something better is gonna come up". Well needless to say it never does and I end up on the website anyway!
And last but not least the Disney outlet store! I have bought several things from this site and they DO run some good sales on thier crap! Also a good place for Halloween costumes!
That is all I have to say! The big party is on Sunday...ugh. Im sure I'll have a lot to say about it!!!

Happy Birthday TY!!

Yay! Its Ty's REAL birthday! The big 5!! The birthday morning started off with a chocolate donut (per Ty's request) with a candle to blow out! Too bad he was just getting over being sick from Monday and only ate half.....but hey....its the thought! His preschool teacher threw him a party in class for which I provided Power Ranger cupcakes (complete with blue icing...i bet she loved that!) and she gave him a balloon and noise makers for all He is so fortunate to have such a great teacher and school!
Tonight we are going to Mr Gattis for REAL birthday dinner! The party is set for our house on Sunday and I still have no idea HOW I'm going to fit everyone in here...but never fear!!!!! The party stuff showed up in the mail today so we are set for decorations!
As I go down memory lane I'll just include a picture from the day he was born..
I was not cool enough to have a digital camera for his first birthday!! hahaha....but here are the rest
ELMO of course!
Buzz Lightyear for his third!
And Pirates of the Carribean for his 4th!

Ty's Birthday!
It has snuck up on me! He will be 5 on the 5th and I am in a mad dash trying to get out invitations. Not too long ago we were in Sam's picking out what he wanted on his cake, and to my suprise he was REALLY wanting Ben 10 instead of Spiderman! I was shocked and just went with it. Well to my suprise when I went online to order invites (the party is 12 days away and I thought I had plenty of time) I can only find a Ben 10 party theme on 1 website!!!! 1 website on the whole universe carries it!!!!! And to top it all off it is going to take 7-10 days to get everything! Man I really hate living in desolate Texas! I cant get anything in this town....I have to travel 3 hours away to civilation or get it online. But don't you worry I did find these SWEET shoes that he is going to LOVE.... I went ahead and ordered party stuff online and am going to have to figure out what in the hell I'm going to do for invitations later! Its amazing the lengths you will go to just to get EXACTLY what your child wants for their birthday! Personally I think they should just be happy to get what they have, but then again I would sound like my mother......so I retract that last statement. :)

Where does he come up with these???
I have come to the realization tonight that my son watches too much t.v. Here is the conversation I had with my child. He has insisted on wearing his Spiderman skates all over the house, and since he was only going to be on the carpet I have not shot down his "bright idea". So he is on his way into the kitchen to get his caprisun from the fridge when his skates his the linoleum and or conversation goes something like this..... T: WHOA!!! Mom: Oh BE CAREFUL! ITS SLICK IN THERE ON THOSE SKATES!! T: MAN, I'M GONNA HAVE TO GET A LIFE ALERT IF I'M GOING TO WEAR THESE THINGS! MOM: A What ?? T: A Life Alert. You know Mom....one of those things that you wear around your neck with the button on it. Mom: (hysterically laughing at this point) Bring me the phone! ( I had to call someone and tell them how funny that just was) T: No Mom! Don't worry it wasn't a "severe injury" just a little fall! ( I think he thought I was going to call an ambulance or something) Mom: Severe Injury? WHAT ARE YOU SAYING? (At this point he has scooted around the corner with caprisun in hand) T: Well only use it in case of "severe injury"... That old lady on t.v. said that "Every human being should have one...Your life depends on it"! I couldn't even respond because I was cracking up! My 4 year old has just told me he needed a "life alert" so he could skate around the house and I am crying at how he just spouted off the commercial! He is 4...Where does he pull this crap from! So I guess its going to be more jumping on the trampoline and less TV! Too funny!

WFMW..Candle Catastrophe
Ok.ok.ok...I know it is Thursday but if you knew what kind of Wednesday that I had then you would understand why this is just posting today! Nevertheless! I have a REVERSE WFMW! I need some help!
My wonderful Mom gave me some of the most fabulous candles in the world...the problem...they were leaning up against the "wayback" of my car so that when I opened it they all came crashing out onto the concrete. Shattering the jars everywhere! Good thing is that I was able to salvage the actual candle wax.
So what do I do?
Any good suggestions on how to burn these candles without a jar??
Thanks for reading!
