Well I guess I have taken this week head on...trying to get some stuff cleaned out and get better organized. But as Thursday came on me today I ran out of "wanna". I'm tired ya'll. REALLY tired. I have been trying to tackle everything so that it is all so-so when the 29th gets here but seriously I don't have that much energy and I have OFFICIALLY fizzled out! With STILL...no baby/girl's room....damn. This past week I have cleaned the laundry room, finally hung all of my decorations on my walls in my bedroom since getting new furniture, and made room in Raegan's room for all of the baby's stuff. Thats something? Right? Well I am determined to get on this room this weekend, but as I sit here and type I think of all the pictures I need to print off and get into albums, purging of winter clothes, selling of old furniture, cleaning of the garage, and the list in my head could go on. You would think that life as I know it is ending when this baby gets here....and folks...I think that is exactly what I am planning for! As far as I'm concerned, a new baby and a 2 year old at home....life as I know it is forever changed! And if I am going to get anything done it BETTER be in the next 3 1/2 weeks!!!

Panic is slooowly setting in....
And by panic I mean utter hysteria....sort of. I don't know why I have not been freaking out about it but we do not have the girls room ready. I am having a baby in 4 weeks...yep that is 4 Saturdays from today to get a baby/big girl's room together and I have not done a thing. I have told and told Matt that we HAVE to get going on the girls room....Maaattt we need to start on that room....until I am blue in the face. He throws on his p.j.'s and waits until the end of the weekend and looks at me and says, "why didn't you get started on that room". No kidding right?!?! I feel like I am beating my head against the wall 24/7, and his defense is, "you stay home all week, get it done". I truly hate him at this point. The walls have nail holes all in them and all the decor is shoved in a box in the closet and he says to me this morning, not kidding, "Yeah, there is a fishing tournament this weekend! We should get my dad to bring his boat and me and him and Ty can fish all weekend! Won't that be cool?" I just looked at him in utter disbelief and said, "yep". AGAIN, I truly hate him! So I guess I will get in there this week and move the furniture all to the center of the room, did I mention I am 9 months pregnant, and get going on this bedroom. Wish me luck! Hate him....

Get away....
We went to lunch with Matt's sister on Saturday after Ty's basketball game and she was going on about leaving for Austin later that day...Matt looked across the table at me and said, "lets go to...quick trip". I know what was going on in his mind and I think it went a little like this: Holy crap I'm feeling like a little 6th street tonight too..super stressful week and all I need is boozin' with my sister!!
My thoughts went a little like this: Holy crap...time out of the house and I dont care how miserable I am in the car I WILL get to go to the outlets to shop for the baby, eat Mamacitas, AND the pack and play I want is at a babies r us in Austin!
So we totally went to "get out of the house"! Right..we both had a hidden agenda! Ha!
So Matt went out with Megan and I got time to go to sleep early and be in my most favorite place...Austin. Which I have been out on 6th street and frankly don't find the thrill in it anymore...catch me in about 10 years and I might revisit but for now I'm GOOD. We took the kids to the children't museum..which don't go it sucked.
I got the pack n play I wanted, got my Mamacita's fix and made it to Carter's outlet! We made it home later that night and MAN did I pay for it...exhausted, back hurting, cankles, and did I say exhausted?!? So I guess that is the last trip for the Wittie clan until WAY after the baby is here and I must admit it was soooo worth it!!

What a great week....
This past weekend I had an opportunity that is rare and I think ALL couples should do more than they probably do... Matt Mom and Dad came and got our kids for the weekend!! Yep Friday through Monday of pure bliss! Don't get me wrong...I love my children and they are my life but as my priority's fall those kids wouldn't be here without my love for Matt! We had the most amazing weekend of no responsibility and we got to do what we wanted to do! We went and ate dinner, we sat and talked, laughed, saw a movie, and just really reconnected! Sometimes in the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives of work and children we forget why we are "in it", or where it all began! With us it all began with Matt and I...no kids...no stress...just us. I think it is vital, to our marriage anyway, that we take the time to remember this. To reconnect. To make time to remember how much we love each other and and what it is all about! I'm not talking about a weekend full of gazing into each other's eyes, crazy sex, or romance filled nights. I'm talking laying in bed all afternoon watching movies and laughing. Uninterrupted. Just hanging out spending the day together. We did. And it was fantastic. So ladies...do it...get rid of the interruptions...make the time for your husband. Alone. It is soooo worth it! Anyway...Matt left for Lubbock on Tuesday morning and of course as soon as he is gone something goes wrong! I got the kids loaded this morning to take Ty to school and my car...my new(er) Yukon would not start. Dead. Completely. DAMN!! I sat in the freezing car and tried to think of who I could call to come help me and as my friends names went through my head...my outlets for help...I had no one. The only 2 I could think of were out of town on business and it left me screwed! I hate living in a town where you have no one to call on for help! I mean REALLY what if I went in labor or had an accident? WTF would I do? All of my close friends (except one or two) have moved away. And that is when it hit me....MEGAN! Matt's sister lives here and I have come to depend on her more than I probably should...so I called and drug her college butt out of bed at 7:30. I would have been pissed...but she rushed right over to help me out! I got it running and all is well! Thank goodness! But this raised a point that I have been trying to make to Matt for the past couple of weeks....As his job has an opportunity for us to move back to Lubbock I have been wanting him to push for it. I'm WAAAAY past ready to move back to my comfort zone....especially since I am going to need all the help I can get with 3 kids! And it just so happens that he is in Lubbock this week to find out if it is going to be a definite move. By June 1st we have an opportunity to get back to Lubbock...back to friends, family, and as you read above...HELP is so desperately need sometimes! I took this morning as an opportunity to call Matt and tell him about the car and say SEE??? SEE why we need to get the "EFF" out of here? What if Megan wasn't here? I would have been screwed....and that is so sad to say when you have lived here for 5+ years! So folks say a prayer, cross your fingers, do a dance...I really dont care as long as it is something that might help us get back to Lubbock!!

Checking in...
<
I really dont know why I have not kept up with my blog lately!! I haven't had too too much going on. Just keeping up with the house and two kids, which to me is a breeze! Ha! I have a lot of down time since my social life has gone kaput since I got pregnant so why not blog...
Not much going on. Don't have much to talk about. Unless you want to hear about my EVER EXPANDING belly or my conversations with a 2 year old! I am trucking right along with this pregnancy, and I seem to be running out of room in my body! Being pregnant is the most strangest thing to go through for a woman. I thought that I would cherish every moment, seeing as how this is DEFINITELY our last one, but not so much. This pregnancy has been the hardest. I have had back pain and somehow pulled my round ligaments that run in front or around my uterus and you talk about suck! I guess it is because I am older and it seems to be harder on my body not to mention I was as big as a house when I started! Dont get me wrong I love feeling her move and wiggle around but it is my body that seems to be failing me! Lets just hope I can make it 6 more weeks!
Oh and look at the cutest car seat cover I ordered
I just love it!! I cringed when I saw what a mess Raegan's was in!
On another note we are 80% sure we are moving back to Lubbock. By June. Lord help me...We are putting our house up for sale March 1st, the baby is scheduled to be here March 29th, and we are to be in Lubbock by June 1st. I don't know HOW I am going to pull it off...fresh out of surgery...but all I had to do is tell my mother that we are moving back and she assured me we would have PLENTY of help and not to worry about a thing!! SO..we will see!! It all depends on if we sell the house. Matt's boss said he could have his same position in Lubbock since an opening was coming up and she knew we have been wanting to head back there some day. So when the opportunity arose we jumped on it! I'm convinced that our lives would not be complete unless everything felt like it were in utter chaos!
Please send prayers our way on selling our house....oh and deciding on a name for this sweet baby girl...who I am afraid is going to be born nameless! Ha!
